It's the day before Thanksgiving and we went back for a check up on little bit on November 26th, which by the way was my birthday ! With my heart pounding and my fists clinched so tight my knuckles were white from riding in the Jacksonville traffic we finally arrived at my doctors appointment. We all unloaded from the van - my mom, dad, Jimmy, myself & Madeline. Thank goodness we did not have to wait too long before being seen as waiting just makes me anxious and then I start every scenario playing in my head as to what could be or could go wrong. We were called back and to my surprise they let all 5 of us attend the sonogram screening. When they started the sonogram she had her feet over her head and then as to no surprise to me she was a wiggle worm and would not stay still. Everything once again was cleared with a good report. This will probably be my last doctor appointed sonogram because she is doing so wonderful they did not see a need to schedule another. Jimmy and I still plan on trying to get some more pictures of her but will wait until the third trimester where her features will be more noticeable...
We were able to get 2 videos of her one she is playing with her feet and the other was right at the end where she yawned. They are just adorable.

It's A Girl !

So, we went from having triplets - Alejandre, Francisco & Jesus to having ONE baby which Jimmy still called Alejandre Francisco Jesus Nettles III (you'll have to ask him about that name) I told Jimmy from the begining if it was a boy he could solely name him BUT if we have a little girl, my only request was to have my middle name Cassondra included. We found out on October 29th
that we were having a little girl - Jimmy and I decided upon Alexis Cassondra Nettles (it's not set in stone and certainly it could change) - either way he wanted an Alex an was getting an Alex : ) All of my blood work and the dreadful testing they make you endure came back with very positive results. Nonetheless God is working in our lives continuously. I consider my results to be one of nothing less than a mere miracle. Please keep us in your prayers as we still have a journey ahead of us.

Some say a picture is worth a thousand words and they are right...
Jimmy and I started talking to one another on May 21st, I had thrown my life up in the air an was so unsure of what I wanted. I had relationship turmoil going on and had really given up on spending my life with just one individual. My ultimate plan was just to date and not get serious with anyone. My son had just had his nose broken that Monday night at a baseball game and I myself passed out in the ER and hit my head pretty hard on the floor enough to knock me out. Maybe this little mishap knocked some sense into me LOL ! Our talks led us to going out on May 28th and we have been unable to be seperated ever since. NO LIE ! There has not been a day since that date that we have not seen each other. I love this man with all my heart, he makes me so happy and I am glad he took that chance to want to get to know me and my son.
My saying above of "A picture is worth a thousand words" is so accurate... God has blessed Jimmy & I both with a wonderful realtionship with one another and this picture is just a mere reflection of how we feel about each other. Jimmy says I "GLOW" alot and I always tell him that it is the love I have inside showing on the outside and if you ask me ... I think we both "GLOW" in this picture and that it tells the whole story of our lives without words.
